Just remembered something else which I think might be the biggest knobache in mobile mode... when you haven't viewed a thread for a while... it's ridiculously difficult to get to the last post!

You click on the thread title which obviously takes you to the post you last viewed. Clicking on "more comments" just takes you forward through a few. (Choosing 'Mark all viewed' doesn't help... as WW said, above.) At least in desktop-mode, you can click on the highest page-number... which takes you to the last page.

Unless I'm missing something...??

I don´t think you missed something Halloween_Jack. I find that annoying too, since 90% of my time on this board is when I´m in "mobile mode".

Just out of curiosity, Halloween_Jack, but how many members are registered to this forum? Like to see some statistics on that, if it's not too much trouble...

Sure, although it's skewed by all the spam-applications we had pre-November.

Most of the 'Confirm Email' and 'Applicant' groups are spambots. Under the new register-by-invite-only system... I'm not sure which of those 2 groups the people invited-but-not-yet-joined will go into, if any.

Basically, the figure 1662 for 'Members' should be a pretty good count of proper members. Can't swear none are dormant spambots, but we've not had any dodgy tinned meat for a while now, have we?

With the new register-by-invite-only system (introduced start of this month), I thought I might be inundated with e-mail requests, but I have had... only TWO so far! One of those being from Layla.

Hopefully with the FAQ in place, would-be joiners can see what they have to do to apply...

I suppose more arguably the metrics for active users (if it brings that up) is the better gauge of how the forum is faring ?

There has been a slight drip off in posts this month. And no, there isn't a graph-option for 'non-guff posts' ;-)

Interesting, I love graphs me :) . Do the other criteria align (have a relationship to them anyway) with the comment numbers (ie users and page views) ?
I already use my Mean Waffle per User Aggregator Compensation formula so I'm sorted thanks haha it's currently running at 37.4%

Pretty much so for the 'Page views'. I've added a screen grab for that to the earlier post.

I'm afraid the 'Users' figures are turdata™... they are actually the number of applicants, including spambots.. so that figure has fallen from several hundred (Pre-Nov) to 1 or 2 a day now.

I don't think the drop-off in activity means much with the time of the year and all. You'd almost have to do a year-on-year, which can't be done, yet.
