Nice spam-busting idea Peter, but since the introduction of "invite only" registration, there should be no more spam to contend with.

If you have another browser (besides Chrome) it would be interesting to see how your post-count behaves with that.

I don't think I have another browser. I'm not very good with things like browsers, downloading or (really) anything difficult to do with computers.

That's OK, Peter... I thought you might not have (another) one. :-)

I've just installed Chrome (ver 32.something) and my post-counts are going up normally.

So... a bit of a puzzle. Maybe just older versions of Chrome & IE screw-up? Can anyone else give any feedback on this issue?

They're not important, but it's vaguely interesting to see how many posts you've made, I'd say.

It's annoying that this is supposed to be a superior platform, and it can't get right a simple thing like this!

I didn´t even know that you could see the amount of posts you made!
But now I checked. And mine doesn´t work. Using the most recent version of Firefox. NOT Chrome. Hope that is of use to you H_J? Personally I don't care much for this feature of the forum, though.

Another wild idea: ditch the "popular tags" box, since it is full of spambotty shite.

Yeah, i think there is an option to turn off tagging completely. I'd be happy to do that if no-one objects.

No,it was stuck on 436. And now it is on 444 (strange that you see 445 BTW). Maybe there is just a small delay? Doesn´t seem to be a huge problem, if you ask me...

Yes, there is. But i would not want to pee-off anyone in the frapp camp by altering their chosen header pic...

Fair enough. Might as well say my fave pics are Jeronimooos avatar and ones from the Rocket video. All pics of Alison are amazing. She could wear a bin bag and still look better than any other female.

Yeah, it's not important, but the count is interesting (I think)... and the failure to record the number is irritating (I'd say)... well, maybe it wouldn't be irritating if there was no post count at all... A stopped clock may be right twice a day, but it is more irritating than no clock at all.

My post count has now increased by one (to 175) although I've posted much more than once since it went up to 174.
