    You should definitely go, if nothing else in the interest of research and compare the old postcards with how it looks today. You could Travel the world comparing today with postcards from yesteryear.

     I have "Remember Old Cardiff" on my Facebook feed , there are two great contributors on it , one reshoots old pictures from where they were originally shot and the other photoshops the 2 pictures together to give a bit of a freaky (in a good way) perspective of both timelines (the canal doesn`t exist above ground any more , its a road)
