Ok,hello all;-D
I really liked Head First(I prefer heartbreaking Felt Mountain and "folky"Seventh Tree)so this new venture makes me f******g mental;-D I watch Drew and the trailer over and over again.
I get this rush of enthusiasm that I've got when I first discovered Goldfrapp. They are back to their roots(at least for what I consider their core).
I'm very pleased to join again.I was July on the old forum(avatar with Roisin Murphy sticking out her tonque)
Cheers;-***
I can sure understand where you are coming from, HB. It's like I was saying in another thread, I kinda miss the old days when Disney and G-rated movies were the only game in town. But, really, this doesn't bother me near as much as some things from the past. At least it's humans in it. And, it was done with a LOT more class and taste than some of the stuff from the past. I guess, personally, I can always right off the video and I think the show will be very classy but, of course, that is just a guess.Bells said:
but it just puts me off
Drew is so keen on switching the moods,it starts with something pleasant and cosy,a bit reminiscent of monster love(like someone already noticed) then those incredible strings and then the atmosphere is getting a tad tense and colder and of course this vocalizing after 3:48 gives me chills.
I'm very, very excited,I can't recall being this aroused about an album release for about 5 years;-D
The little pervert in me also likes small things like "I smell your sweat",so sensual and tender;-P
Pull up the blinds
Open the door wide
Feel the cold arrive
In my bones
Put on my face
The way I dressed today
Feel like you tonight
On my day
Falling little more
You bumped and crashed in dirty snow
Up to our sin, I might as well
Melt into Sunday
Remember the time
We stood there by the lake
Watching boats and waves
Pretty white clouds
The sun will sweat
In fact the song begins
Trees are your skin
On my tongue
Falling little more
You bumped and crashed in dirty snow
Up to our sin, I might as well
Melt into Sunday
Pull up the blinds
Open the door wide
Feel the cold arrive
In my bones
You, me and more
We bumped and crashed in dirty snow
Up to our sin, we might as well
Melt into Sunday
La la la la la
La la la la la la la la la
We know you’re, you’re not how it seems
Don’t have a point
You’re not there for the stay
When I will wish you could
Wish that you were there
You could
You’re dying in here
You could be here soon
You stumble on a river
