I'm guessing job security. Act as if they are doing something useful rather than all of the fixes on this site that could be done. I like that picture too.

Changing the header picture is one of the few design/layout settings that Mr C and myself have access to. I obviously do not want to change anything in the Goldfrapp public image that they might not be happy with. So... I'm not going to change the picture willy-nilly.
But yes, I did replace the original pic with the "head against the invisible wall" version from the same photo-shoot. And I very briefly put up the one Jo_ey mentioned. Didn't think anyone had noticed! -
