The fact it's screwing up with 3 "modern" browsers seems to indicate the faults are with the board's settings.

I just posted to the "What's the Last Film You Watched?" thread.  In doing so, I attempted to quote the immediately previous post.  Alas, it hasn't come out looking much as though I was quoting someone else.  There's no blue box, nor does it say whom I'm quoting.  The quote appears indented, but that's about all that makes it appear different from my comments.  This isn't the first time this has happened when I quote another member.  Is something weird going on?  If so, is it fixable?

I have fixed (2 of) them for you. It involved getting down and dirty with HTML tags.. which I doubt you'd enjoy!

Thanks for that, and...  No, I wouldn't enjoy it!  On the old GMB, I'd add an "eek!" emoticon, but on here the emoticons are too complicated (too big a choice) for me.  Still, you can imagine the emoticon I'd have chosen.  *winking emoticon*

Yeah, I removed a block that contained a list of the "categories" (ie news, off-topic etc). Do people need/want that? (You can click on the banner picture to get the main display listing the separate categories.)

I was just trying to get rid of clutter, but I'll put it back if people want...

It looks too bare. How about a logo, or something? A fold-out picture of Carpy?

Just curious, HJ, if you have run across Cicada 3301?  You might enjoy it as you seem to be fairly competent at computers.
