    Does anyone know that Alan Partridge sketch where he comes into contact with his stalker Jed Maxwell? They meet in a hotel lobby and Jed Maxwell says something like 'it's so good you meet the fans, coz we make you what you are' and Alan says something like 'I don't actually agree on that!'.

    Does a hardcore of fans make an artist? I don't know.

    LOL! I remember a radio interview from about 1980 (dare I say - before a lot of you's lot were born!) with Gary Numan - when a fan phoned in and said "Remember, Gary - us fans made you what you are"... and he replied "No, you didn't - I made me what I am - you just bought the records!" I did laugh. :)

    A personal thank you
    to Border_Mind and Lisa for getting things started where Mirror couldn’t.



    It appears the use of
    lyrics went over many a “Frappers” head, although best to consider those a
    personal message to the singer herself.



    Mirror also wishes to
    emphasize that personal digs at other members were never the intention, it is
    not our style. Apologies to Cervus if he felt personally attacked.



    Let Mirror make it
    quite clear, it is not a troll, and its presence dates back to the original
    board members back in 2003.



    It would be wrong to
    think that Mirror is merely here to drag the band through the dirt; Mirror was
    very excited with Felt Mountain.
    However, their downward path culminated in Head
    First    .

    Anyone who considers themselves a fan of (electronic) music cannot but agree on
    this: yes, musical taste is always subjective, but in an attempted objective
    comparison with other electronic musicians, they do fall painfully short.



    Anybody remember the
    time when the band stated never to work with guitars?

    Surely a keytar is pushing it…

    Rest assured I did not feel personally attacked :) ...As I said before I have been through enough to know what really matters to me now and what doesn't.... :)

    Isn't opening up to new musical ideas a good thing though? I think not working with guitars comment came about because in 2003 there were so many guitar bands around droning on.
