    Much of what I'm listening to at the moment seems to come from Scandinavia, and I don't mean Abba. Really like Fever Ray etc.

    I bet there aren't many Frappers who don't like F and the M. I always think she looks a bit awkward in her videos tho. Amazing voice.

    Adore the woman. Her most recent album was my favourite release of 2015. Never understood why there were some people (*cough Guardian commenters cough*) who were so unnecessarily mean towards her.

    I've just been watching Train from the 2010 Head First tour in Oakland where the inflatable portal at the rear of the stage has obviously had a few drinks and has....emm.. performance problems!

    I fancied a bit of Blues this morning and then found this by Babe Ruth from the 1976 album Kids Stuff. Apparantly covered by the Cozy Powell band and no one knew it was a cover.

    I was reintroduced to ' In a Broken Dream' by Python Lee Jackson today by Cerys Matthews on BBC 6 music.
    When we got out jukebox, this was the first record put on it to test it. I have no idea how I came to have it, but it is a fantastic slice of late 1960's Blues, or is it rhythm and blues? Recorded in 1968, but not released until 1970, the vocal is by Rod Stewart and he performed as a guest vocalist before his own career had significantly taken off. Legend has it that as payment for his vocals, he asked for a set of seat covers ( some say mats) for his car.

    Not so much what I'm listening to now, as what I'm planning to do now. I've got some free time so it's about time I read the arguments for the EU Referendum. I'm sick of hearing people whinging about the lack of information blah blah snore...it's all out there, but some people are just too idle to bother swotting up. So I'm being a pompous irritating little shit and going to do my homework now! ( I'm trying to come off the opiates now so looking for other ways to send me to sleep!) :-B
