Donald a Trump and Michael Gove want Brexit

That's okay, there are a lot of people that have clearly stated t hat they will exit  the U.S. (sorry, couldn't think of anything interesting, Trexit?) if Trump gets elected.  If I could afford it, I probably would too.  May anyways. Here's a conspiracy theory for you, though.  Did you know that Trump used to be a Democrat (that's like Hilary).  Sometimes I wonder if he just joined the Republican party to throw them into disruption and, then, somehow, he caught on.  I mean, the two parties, just the Britain are like oil and water.  How does one change parties?  I guess I'm not too concerned that Trump will win and, secondly, I would really want to stick around to see what began to happen.  I mean, Hitler and Germany come to mind.  I can't believe the U.S. is that bad but you never know.

I take the needle off the Technics and put it in my vein
  • I have often wondered how I progressed from the pop music of my childhood to the rock music of my adult life. At what point did that happen? Well, today, I had an epiphany and remembered a school friend who was a bit older who made me aware of this album, and that was the gateway I believe.
    Focus - Moving Waves.

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ.
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit.
Shall lure it back to cancal half a line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
  • New band Blossoms are rather good. Give them a listen L-)
  • Pretty good, HB.  I listened to Charlemagne.

  • 80s! Got friends coming round tonight so I've put an 80s playlist together, a few hundred songs, all gems. I loved that decade. Even Milli Vanilli might sound ok after a bottle of wine. Or not.
  • There's even Bros! Hey Helen, if you and Robert and U.S. Two get on, we'll invite you over one night for a 70s or 80s night! Catherine brushes up great as Olivia Newton John lol ( I've seen the photos).
  • Do you get chills?

There is an album that's just come out called 80's XL with near on 80 tracks on it that looks pretty darn good.
That decade for me I kind of only got interested in music from say '86 '87 onwards. My era was the Madchester scene going in to the Acid house and rave scene through to the halcyon days (for me anyway) of Britpop. I really became an Indie kid and brought into the Oasis v Blur stuff and all the other great bands of the time. Late 90's was poop and into the 00's was dire with all your Pop Idol shite being force fed to the public :-q
Brit music is pretty darn good again in recent years when you look at the quality of nominees for Mercury Music Prize - this year has blown me away with the great choices.
