So I just checked out who Mary Whitehouse was. Interestingly she was a teacher who stood up to the screening of sexual violence in the media. Her biggest enemy was a man called Sir Hugh Greene (director general of the BBC) who tried to censor out any of her objections or opinions
Apparantly, Greene went and purchased a naked portrait of her, with six breasts, by Lawrence Isherwood and (it was said) would amuse himself by throwing darts at this picture, squealing with pleasure as he made a hit.
Well..that's certainly one way of getting one up on your enemy.
Well, Mary Whitehouse was a self appointed guardian of the nations morals back in the 70's S. She campaigned for people like me to be censored and locked up for our persistent sexism and for the eradication of smut and pornography. I bet she was a right goer when the lights went out! Mr Whitehouse probably never got any kip! Interestingly, it was also the name of a soft porn mag, whose major star was Mary Millington. Look them up. Every day's a school day!

Kat, you didn't go looking for an occupation in Amsterdam, did you?
Gotta love the Netherlands, they finally had to start decommissioning jails due to lack of tenants. How brilliant is that? I guess it all starts with the name, don't you think? Maybe Nether Regions would have even worked better.
At this point I am banging my head in my hands, just so you know. No WW, the last time I was in The Nether Regions I was accompanying a group of girlfriends. We had great fun going round the sex museum and in various sex shops ( I was no prig in my 20s tee hee and I was having a bit of a fling with the lady who invited me along but that’s another story...). Unfortunately her and I rather overdid it on the ole wacky baccy and lack of sleep while our sensible room mates went back to the hotel. I crumbled in a ladies loo the following day having some sort of minor psychotic turn / panic attack thing ( I blame the marmalade in the hotel personally). It was a scorching hot summer as I recall and I showed myself to be the light weight that I am. How very embarrassing. But at least 20 years I lived... not like some of these boring graduates these days !!!!
No I could go on....and on....about cannabis. If you want me to.... ( anyone on here undercover? If so, my greenhouse only contains houseplants, geraniums And a triffid).
Well, not a drug taker ( far too much of a control freak for that) but have been to Amsterdam many, many times (actually closer to our house than London is) and we have a very convenient overnight ferry that departs only 5 miles away from us. Just walking through Amsterdam though is enough to get high. Every time you pass a cafe and the door opens, it wafts out. It give us what we call the 'spendies'; the sudden desire to spend money. Going again in September.

So that's why Kat garden is so huge? She is a secret drugs Lord! Now have you got any magic mushrooms stashed away anywhere! I've never smoked anything or taken anything in my life. Jaigerbomb is the furthest I've gone and I was spaced out after one drink.
Anyway I was just going to say (as it's gone a wee bit silent on here) that I'm definitely not judging anyone. I think we've a got a little carried away on here in recent days.

I saw the coolest thing the other day. I was at the pier watching a pink and orange sunset and stayed a little longer to see the stars. This guy at the end of the pier was blowing up balloons and putting glow sticks in them. As the sky went dark, he threw a glowing red one and a glowing fluorescent pink onto the water's surface. To much amazement they started popping up in the air, bouncing around and being raced on top of the water at break- neck speed. It was a pod of wild dolphins playing with them in the dark!
Really an incredible sight, if you don't think of the pollution aspects.
