  • So, does Melania have a body double? Does anyone care anyway?!
  • I know this is bad but I keep conjuring up other names for her Melonhead. I do not know how she physically stands by Trump in every way and form. Trump by name. Trump by nature.
  • Trying as hard as I can to find the anagram 'Turnip' in the word Trump. Can find Guff and Fart and Trouser Cough, but no Turnip sadly.
Have a look at this. Polly pretending to be Sybil Fawlty pretending to be Melania.

  • I bloody love Fawlty Towers so much. And some mother's do have them. Frank Spencer is such a class act. :))
  • Call it an anti-conspiracy, maybe.  I'm looking at these young folks who are finally getting fed up with the bullshit(e) after getting shot at and it makes me think of the 60s/70s when people finally got fed up with the U.S. acting like an arrogant two year old.

So, I wonder if we are entering an age when, once again, some shred of sanity begins to emerge.

    Sorry, too earnest probably.
  • No, heartfelt I think WW. For too long, your country has been in thrall of the gun. Some of the most crappy excuses imaginable are used to justify gun ownership. 'All my neighbours have one' 'Black gangs have them' 'the Police have them' (irrelevant unless, possibly, you are black) 'We need them to oppose a oppressive government ( which enshrines my right under the 2A to own one in the first place)!
Unless you are expecting a major Zombie Apocolypse (Iuv expert on this) or to have the country over-run by lean and agile Asian forces in an attempted invasion, there is no justifiable need to own an assault style weapon. Useless for hunting, I think they are just owned by males who are trying to overcompensate for perceived inadequacies elsewhere (of which PG is the expert).
50% of the guns in America are owned by 3% of the population (the small penised ones and females who think they would have a small penis if they were male).
75% of the American population do not own a gun at all. About time they stood up and voted to end the tyranny of that 3%. In that, children are your future. (Teach them well and let them lead the way).

  • I've never understood the casual sale of assault type weaponry to the general public. It has no use outside of War, and War is just a testament to how unevolved the human male is. The only reason to carry a gun is for hunting and protection. I have one for protection. I first thought about guns when I used to hike in bear country, then got serious about it when I discovered two women had been murdered while hiking near the trails I used. That sealed the deal. Predators, bear and man alike.

Protection and hunting is one thing, bump stocks and assault rifles are just deadly for everyone.

  • What if while hiking you call some bald prophet baldhead and he sicks two female bears on you? One gun may be not enough  to kill them both

  • It was too much trouble to go find the thread I made on newspapers and, besides, conspiracy theories (there isn't on one idiot theories, is there?) should do fine.

It's an article in The Times that I found on Yahoo concerning Brexit.  It's a good thing the English like irony so much.

  • The problem in America is that someone like @LuDux would be allowed to purchase a gun, and that's a shame.

  • So Trump thinks the answer is giving the teachers concealed weapons? Given the amount of daily stress and abuse in the job I’m not sure that’s a good idea! Seriously, how juvenile and knee jerk is that as a reaction / “ answer”? I read that the authorities are banning protests in term time...seems like the children / young people are educating the adults and need to be listened to.
  • Here's a film out right now called Red Sparrow with Jennifer Law, Joel Edgerton and Charlotte Rampling in it. Somewhere in Russia, there exists a secret program dedicated to turning people into weapons. They’re trained to manipulate, seduce, and use every asset at their disposal. They’re called ‘Red Sparrows’.

Dominika Egorova is their latest recruit, forced into the job after her career as a ballerina is suddenly ended by injury. She’s the best Sparrow the program has ever produced, and now has to reconcile the person she used to be with the power she now commands.
  • Banning protests in term time? Well, if American kids are anything like us when we were at school, we always did everything the authorities told us to. ( Yeah, right).
I think the Dinosaurs in the USA that think they can continue to boss these kids have forgotten what the Conservatives have over here. Kids grow up to be young voting adults and are generally more militant than their parents. Particularly in the UK, trying to scare kids with stories of socialism and 3 day weeks and the frankly desperate ploy this week of trying to brand Jeremy Corbin as a Czech controlled Communist, will not work, simply because anyone below the age of 24 has no empirical knowledge of anything other than a Conservative or Conservative/LibDem alliance and even immediatley prior to that, it was Blair and Brown and that was Labour Lite. During the times of 3 day weeks and constant strikes and the U.K. being the sick man of Europe, I was at school, and not even my Senior years. Today's kids have no concept or interest in that and only see how badly things are going now with Schools, the NHS, Brexit etc. Like all kids, they want to kick over the traces and try something new. Same in the USA with its dogma over gun control and politicians in the pocket of the NRA and other rich political lobbies. The kids want a change and they do not respect the likes of Trump or anyone telling them what to do.
They who manage the youth vote the best will carry the day both sides of the pond in the next few years.
Get out and vote kids. No longer can you say it will make no difference!
