  • anybody who loves keyboards and organs will get a kick out of this. Technology at its height !
Best thing is, about half way through, you get a view from the pipe room back towards where the manuals (keyboards) are, and there is a couch! Is this set up inside someone's house?

That's one way to piss the neighbours off! - I wanna hear Will & Alison do Strict Machine on that!
What if the Hokey Cokey is what it's all about?
  • What do you get when you cross the Queen and Prince Philip?

I take the needle off the Technics and put it in my vein
  • Oooooo....naughty! That belongs in the Conspiracy Theory thread!
  • Surely you get a Prince Charles!
Being married to him, getting killed in a tunnel could be seen as a welcome release.

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ.
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit.
Shall lure it back to cancal half a line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.

  • Hasn't worked for the Catholic church all that well, either.  I really wonder about Tibetan Monks.  Do they are don't they?
  • Amazing news ! The fly by of Pluto has discovered other intelligent life in the solar system.

  • My Avatar, Gerald, is a painting by Mrs T; a print of which is owned by a colleague that has just retired.
On their Good Luck banner, Gerald was immortalised as a cartoon. Sweet !

What is done in the dark will always come to light
  • I heard that that was a difficult TV show to make back in the 70s; they kept dropping a clanger.
  • UT - I always wondered whether Gerald is based on Gerald the giraffe at Moholoholo wildlife rehab centre? Gerald
  • No Whisperit. Gerald has been around for a number of years. Mrs T is benefactor of the WWF ( didn't even know she liked wrestling !) and they send her a lot of animal images in their publications, some of which inspire her work. He's very rare in that she does not usually paint animals complete, so you can see exactly what they are; usually just parts or the patterns/colours of their hides or feathers. She has promised him a companion of an Ostrich for sometime now but the artwork does flow at glacial like speeds at times!
If you want, see more here.

Gerald's on the slide show on the Home page and also in the Naturalistic gallery.

  • Ooh - fab, UT! From a quick browse,  "One for Sorrow" really stands out for me, and the concept behind "Taxa" is terrific.
