Dare by the Human League. Now 33 years old but still as innovative as it was all those years ago and not a rubbish track on it. It gave Virgin records it's first No one album since Tubular Bells and saved the label from bankruptcy.
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ. Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit. Shall lure it back to cancal half a line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
Liking the new version of Monument. Hope the album is up tempo. As much as i love chilled Royksopp (Melody AM) Senior was a bit dissapointing so i think they really hav ean uptempo mojo at the moment. Great album title aswell.

It's more listenable than the bloated original version on the EP, isn't it? Also check out their new track Skulls.
I know it's very fashionable to say "Their best album since....." when a band drops a new album but........
Lamb's new album is an absolute blinder and easily their best since quite a while. I know a number of you on here like a bit of Lou & Andy so well worth a mention. Dreeke, I'd imagine you've possibly got yours by now if I know you well enough?
Got my 2 cd numbered pop-up book through a day or two ago and it's some of the best writing they've done in ages - they've somehow managed to mix the dirty synth bangers & the huge strings anthems on one album and have it hold together wonderfully.
The theme this time is time, space, the universe and us as human beings - it roars and twinkles as perfectly befits the theme.
Right, now I've typed all that I'm off for a bit more.

A million fires before your harvest comes. To burn out. Wear the mask of a heathen. For the moon's lonely eyes.
