Puzzled by this comment. I have not disabled my presence sensor, neither has Appy. In fact, I can see mine flashing on the ceiling as I post this. OK, sorry. Maybe my brains skipped one step while thinking. What I meant to say was, that people who have disabled their visibility are hard to miss. If you can not see that they are on line, how can you miss them when they’re not on line?
So, only people that DO show their visibility can be missed when they choose not to log in as often as they used to do. Like the ones I mentioned in my previous comment. It this abracadabra? Or just innocence?

I think people are referring more to posts than to visibility, J--unless, of course, you sit for hours staring at the 'who's on line' tab. Folklore, Cervus, and the rest are simply absent from posting here in recent weeks/months.

People can see how long it's been since a particular person has visited the forum.. by going to their profile page and checking 'Last active'. eg for folklore, it says: "Last Active: February 25".
(You might have problems actually getting to a person's profile page. Such a simple thing to want to do, but the search facility only seems to find posts mentioning the name?! Unless I'm missing something obvious. )

There's also the issue with the online thingy that it seems that people that use moblie blink on and off. Whenever I'm online it's steady state and I use a computer, that's why I"m guessing it's mobile's that blink. I just happened to see Appy's do this the other day. In fact, most people seem to blink on-line then back off.
