  • My ticket was despatched on 11th and I still did not receive it... I'm starting to panic. All other tickets arrived on the 2nd day after the despatch date...  :-((

  • Just booked my travel tickets. I'll be in town from Fri 28th Mar til Fri 4th Apr. Anyone else staying longer than just the Saturday?

EDIT: looking back on the thread, seems Una and Keith are also arriving on the Friday... excellent! :-)

People - do check the table in the first post of this thread to see if your details are correct/up-to-date. If not, let me know and I'll fix..

We're also arriving on friday HJ :)

Caravan Girl and Visual Fallacy (to give them their formal titles!) have also said they'll be arriving on the Friday. No confirmation from Laura yet but if I were a betting man..... :)
  • Hey, just seen the posts on Facebook but given that I don't really want to discuss this on there I'll reply here if that's ok?
Some of you may know that George (my gf) and I broke up a couple of weeks ago nearly. We were booked to be in Brighton for the weekend and so I'm not really sure what's going on now. The chances are that we'll still be there together, but not together, if you catch my drift. But it probably means we may not be particularly sociable on the Friday night. It may be the case that it's all a bit much and I come on my own, in which case I'm not sure what I'll be doing/when I'll be getting there. But I'll keep you posted. :)
  • Sorry to hear that news Sally. Understandable you can't make specific plans. Hope you can still enjoy the gig, and as for socialising... just wait and see what feels right at the time...

Looks like i'm not going to be in town on the Friday til at least 7:30pm. I'd forgotten that the railway line in Devon is still broken! But will still hope to have a bite to eat, prob in Dorset caff, as i suggested on FB.
  • I am really sorry to read that Sally :(
Jesus you two were together years, your head must be all over the place :(

    I think I will arrive around 6pm-ish.

  • Sad to hear that as well Sally.
Still looking forward to a chance to meet you. Only briefly said hi in Manchester, didn't we?
Please feel free to be as un-sociable as you want/need to be.
    We'll understand.

  • My boy has a drama recital saturday morning so will rock up mid afternoon and come find you all. Will be good to catch up. Am staying at the seafront travelodge now.

Sorry to hear your news Sally

  • Thanks guys.  It's been a bit crap but these things happen.  We're still very good friends, just trying to iron out the kinks.  Think we'll both be there on the saturday night (so please excuse any awkwardness) but are probably going to give any socialisation on the friday a miss if that's alright? If it all goes to sh*t and I'm abandoned on the friday night then I'll be seeking you all out, have no fear haha!
  • One week to go now!

Official excitement about this will now ensue..........

    Sorry to hear that Sally.
  • Sad news, Sally. It may not be the best of times just now but hopefully the weekend wont be too bad. 90 minutes of it, should be absolutely fantastic, of course. :)
  • Hello all,

New to the forum.  I'm travelling from the States to London and I'm planning to come down to Brighton to see Goldfrapp.  I'm staying in London, never been down to Brighton, not planning to stay the night there.  Looks like trains shut down around 11pm.  Trying to figure out how late the show might go -- is there a curfew there -- and what other advice locals may have about getting there and back and the area in general.

    thanks  :)
