i went to the Lowry today, i really enjoyed the exhibition. i thought i was well put together with a clear theme running through it. much of the work was familiar to me (which i'm quite pleased about haha B-) ) but there was a few bits that were new and i liked seeing. the room with personal objects was lovely and i think really made the final touch. i took a few photos when there was no one looking >:) . the final three are of personal objects from alison's home or family.

Thanks for posting. Husband and I are going to Manchester on 29th Dec specifically to visit the exhibition :D

Can't wait! Were there any related things for sale ie a brochure or anything? I would love an exhibition poster.

^ there wasn't much relating to the exhibition really, some books like collections of Grimm fairytales and hans christian anderson (which i have already) . a Reininger DVD (which i also have already), some goldfrapp CD's (got them already too). and a small poster (didn't have one of them before, got one now :) )

here's a picture of the flyer, the poster has more emphasis on the image

Yes indeed, good snaps you looter! If anyone is gonna break the rules and take some photos it should well be her hardcore fans. I don't think she'd care too much. I wouldn't. Besides, how else are we gonna see them:)
