I went on Saturday - very good pieces chosen very striking.

Loved the room with the tree in it- the light casts shadows so that no matter where you are it changes.

2 video installation - David Lynch's Lost highway and the Wicker Man - both of which i love - these are full length

Annabel video

Snippet of Jo video - the bit where shes running through the forest - this is on repeat

Collection of fairytale books - open and closed

Display of personal artifacts - stuffed animals, animals statues, really cool

I liked the ropemakers daughter picture - not sure of the full title

Well worth a visit - loved the metamorphosis bit and the recurring theme of little red riding hood.

I also loved the photographs - think by a Japanese artist - blurred but with something unsettling in most of them

I would recommend and will probably defo go back - its werid, wonderful, scary, but brilliant.

My friend was scared of the children's book and cartoon - about a man who chopped children's thumbs off with scissors if they suck them - i said it was probably a repressed sexual memory

I really was going to go today. But i will have to leave it due to the rain. Although Salford is only 20 minutes from me the bus takes longer and i am not quite sure of the way from when i get off, With it chucking down i will try again soon. More likely to be next Monday.

I should remember to visit this in November when I'm up for a gig. God what are the chances of me remembering? So many museums n galleries in Manch.
