  • Did you find somewhere to sleep tonight?
    "its MY favourite song"
  • So there's 5 Forumers going tonight, right? (Dreeke, Anouk, Alex_f, Giancarlo, and Jeronimooo.)

Have a great time, guys & girls! :-)

Interested to hear the setlist (probably no Yellow Halo? lol) and whether string quartet or solo violinist etc (sadly no more Davide).

I can see the appeal of posting about all 6 gigs in this thread, but maybe we could have separate threads for pics and vids? (they can cause grief on mobiles.)

Yep, a proper hotel for once! :)

  • Please dont start pointless duplicates of threads like gig review threads photo thread. One for each date will suffice.

  • It isn't sold out in Amsterdam and Brussels???
    Unbelievable!!!
    :-S

Well, according to ticketmaster to concert was a sell-out. Just got back from the concert. It.was.excellent!
  • What a gig indeed!! I am completely dumbfounded right now...

    Just roll on tomorrow!
  • I totally agree. Kept thinking I couldn't get any better, but it got better and better and better right until the end of the gig.

Yellow halo was superb. As were many others. Still think Ride a white horse is one of the best Goldfrapp tracks ever (as I told Jozzy in another thread). Seeing it live is... well.... quite an experience.

    Just Keep Things Simple.....
    Love Goldfrapp.....
  • No string quartet but a solo violin player.
It's the cute girl that also plays the mandolin during Alvar at Maida Vale.
She did a great job imho.
It's also nice to see the band on stage being 3 guys and 3 ladies.
    Very fitting. Very Goldfrapp.

  • I think the drummer was very good. Heck, they all were...

    I liked her.
    I liked everything.
I'd like to go back to last night.
  • So it's the girl who played mandolin at MVale? Cool. :-)

It's Ellie Stanford apparently, who's part of the Stanford Quartet, along with her 2 sisters and... a non-sister.

Yes! I noticed that too! Indeed it was very fitting.
