Was talking to one of the ladies on my reception at work earlier and somehow fell into the conversation of last nights programme as she said her nephew likes Frapp. Well chuffed at this so persude the conversation and she said "Goldfrapp, oh the one with the blonde lady and the haunting vocals? I enjoyed that". Well, I nearly wet myself with excitement by then and she said she would like to listen to TOU!

Fantastic. Shes not having my real copy though just a copy version. Another convert maybe??

As for the chappie who has an issue with Alison's stage persona. Sorry, pal. A bit late in the game now. You'll have to find someone else to satisfy your need for a wildly animated stage performer. I've lost count of how many times I've seen Goldfrapp - 9 or 10 times now. Frankly, I wouldn't consider it a proper Goldfrapp gig without some earpiece fiddling, and at least once icy stare to the soundboard. As for her friendliness or this perceived lack of warmth: 1) she's not there to be your mate, she's there to blow you away with her otherworldly voice and wonderful stage presence; 2) sorry that she called someone a name at one gig you saw back in the mid 00s, but at every single gig I've attended since the Felt Mountain tour(s), she has been incredibly gracious and appreciative of her audiences.
