    Love Goldfrapp.....
  • Adored adored adored Monster's University! Maybe more than Wall E. It was just so perfect and I love Mike, he was a real believable sweetie, the animation gorgeous and evocative, I think it's the greatest film Pixar have made.

Just see it. I found Monsters Inc dull but this prequel blew me away.
  • Yippee!  Cartoon fan!!!!  Woohoooo!

Just went out to watch Before Midnight.
    Great addition to the trilogy.
Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke have such great chemistry.

I went to see that in London on Friday night. Thoroughly enjoyed it and it was as engaging and affecting as the first two.

Not sure about the ending though - too abrupt in my view.

  • I watched Premium Rush on Friday night, not half as bad as I thought it was going to be. Then I watched Monsters Inc for the 2390843rd time yesterday evening... I fell asleep half way through though... hangover from Saturday night was too much to handle!

The ending felt a bit rushed and tagged on tbh. They could've ended it with Ethan being alone in the hotel room. Not a happy end, but it sure would've been more edgy like the previous one...

I'm anxious to hear whether or not the GLaDOS voice works in this one.

  • The World's End

Not a great film by any means apart from:-

    1) Some very funny and quite creative use of constant swearing.

    2) Some top, top fight scenes that are actually ridiculously well done.

    3) The soundtrack

    4) A Sisters Of Mercy shirt - heck, that's a rare thing these days!

If drunk or you have a free ticket like I did then give it a go. Not one of Pegg/Frost's best but I've paid for worse.
