The Steadfast Tin Soldier (sometimes called The Brave Tin Soldier) was a fairy tale written by Hans Christian Andersen. It was adapted thematically for the cover art for Erasure's second single, Heavenly Action, in 1985, and in line with similar art for their album Wonderland.
