I did carve a pumpkin this aft, but not in spooky style, hearts and stars instead. The living room smells divine right now, gingery and yummy bubbles with it lit on the hearth. I toasted the seeds in olive oil with chilli powder and sugar and they are amazing...planning to make Thai pumpkin and coconut soup tomorrow.
Take a picture!! I can hear kids toddling down the road with their trick or treat buckets. We have had 5 groups so far banging on the door so far. The look on their wee faces when i way 'I ain't got any moneeeyyy!!'. Lol.
Over t'road somebody is having a halloween shindig! Flashing lights and all.
Nah....not worth it. I carved in a hurry, with no patience and a blunt kitchen knife. The results ain't pretty lol. We are lucky to live with no immediate neighbours except for a shed of chickens. No hassle from kids ha!
Try this if you want to get in the Galloween mood.
