  • Oh yeah, good one Folksie! I'm actually surprised you haven't graced us with a honeybooboo gif yet? (We'll just have to wait) Maybe also we can add what used to scare the shit out of us as children too- and real local ghost stories?

I gotta run, but I'll be back to add mine later- mhahahahahahah, ha!

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ.
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit.
Shall lure it back to cancal half a line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
  • Well, I carved a white owl a couple days ago..but it's already gone moldy! The eyes caved in and it's turning to mush. Thought I'd take a pic before the damn thing disintegrates-

  • :) Nice one!
  • Just a little myth or folklore about Athena and her Owl-

"In Ancient Greek mythology the Owl was a creature sacred to Athena, Goddess of the night who represented wisdom. Athena, the Greek Goddess of Wisdom had a companion Owl on her shoulder, which revealed unseen truths to her. Owl had the ability to light up Athena's blind side, enabling her to speak the whole truth, as opposed to only a half truth."

  • I've heard that you can soak your carved pumpkins in a mild bleach solution to help them last longer. They also sell something for the very purpose, but I don't know what's in it.
If I were dead, could I do this?
  • Here's a tutorial I just found. Note that they don't use candles in any of them. I wonder how the Wet & Forget would react to fire.

  • This year's pumpkin. Keeping it traditional!
