    My boss stopped me right towards the end of the day and said "Oh, by the way, I watched that Jools Holland thing Tuesday night so I could see Goldfrapp - haunting stuff, yeah, really nice. Was that performing live?"

    When I told him yes, that was indeed both performing live and for the live broadcast he seem most surprised and impressed in equal measures.

    Agreed! And unforgivable of jools to call Goldfrapp 'her'. Brilliant though, that the audience are silent & respectful during the quieter songs.

    Just watched Clay live on Jools Friday show. I haven't listened to the track for a while and I had instant hairs on end at the start of the first chorus. Amazing effect that song has on me. Really makes me shiver. As for Alison's presence, on Clay, a quiet reflective beginning is necessary to balance the gothic drama of the climax(es). So there.
