The music is initially recorded onto a digital recorder, then put on a CD/vinyl. (Am I right?)

You do have a point! But we never get the direct digital files from the artists so the quality will always be less than what it should be.

Still can't stand the digital era.

Unless you get them in WAV, you're correct, they are much inferior quality than the original recording.

Are you nuts? A 24/96 WAV/FLAC is higher quality (double the quality, if you look at it simply) than a CD, so if that's an option (which it is on TOU) i'd hit that up every time. When you rip your CD to iTunes it goes to M4A or MP3 (depending on your settings) which lowers the spectrum decreasing quality.

Haha Rewak, I've downloaded tracks with MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, you name it... And I've listened with professional studio headphones... They all sound the same =;
