  • At the end of the day the question should be if it matters that Alison can still reach those high notes.
    It's not what defines her.
    We all get older. I used to be able to lift two crates of beer. Seems a bit banal (is this proper English?). But that's just the way it is.
    They're still people made of flesh and blood, not machines.

    Me, I like the little cracks and imperfections, makes me feel human (not a dud)

    yeah me too. when Hardy described Tess (of the D'urbervilles) he said she was "perfect in her imperfections", he was right. its the flaws that make us.
  • @ping Mirror found the typical hetero male comments about the pair of them wrestling in the mud to be, well slavishly predictable really. Perhaps Mirror was more offended by the predictability than the content though.
