    Well it's bloody quiet on here - must be silly season!

    I'm surprised that no one has bothered commenting on the article I posted - it sparked alot of discusion on the 'other' social media site. Might explain why people don't bother coming here anymore? :-w

    Or, she could just be a mardy pants as this article suggests we, her fans, are being manipulated to further this mystique.
    She is intensely private, and I doubt this stance on social media is a calculated one, just one borne of her need to be artistic but remains on her terms. She does interact with some after all, you just have to breach the cordon to enter the inner circle. Most of those 'confidants' appear to be female, which suggests she finds their council more acceptable but even here, it is on her terms.
    To take this much further would require more discussion on her content in the messages she does post and while I like seeing her photos, a number of which are creative and interesting, it is not her photographic skills I value her most for. Will is far more approachable and open in the flesh, but he posts even less than Alison, suggesting that he does not have much store for the current infatuation with social media.

    Interesting thought.  It seems like FB and Twit could be used to either enhance the mystique or, in most cases, like Alison, make them seem more human, a better insight into who the person is.  In Alison's case, I think it is both.  She is just a bit of a mystical creature.
