  • Paloma Faith at the O2 this coming Wednesday.
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ.
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit.
Shall lure it back to cancal half a line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.

You'll have a fab time. Paloma is a great performer, is very funny and a great rapport with the audience :)

  • The Katzenjammer gig @ Paradiso was fantastic and so were the audience.

Am uploading now. Here is one link:

You were right Hells. Paloma was fab last night. I took a video of 'New York' where see came down off the stage and walked through the standing audience. There's a woman who is confident with her fans !
I will upload to YT tomorrow.

  • Thanks for posting the video, gst. Not too much of me doing my dad dancing thang, fortunately! Unlike some other clips uploaded to YouTube. Someone's actually recorded every song from the gig. The quality isn't as good as yours but it makes for a great souvenir of a stupendous gig :)

Great to meet you on the night as well.
  • Katzenjammer have just announced another gig in London -- on November 17th.

    Thanks for sharing!

Am I right in thinking that the Paradiso gig was on Anne Marit's birthday?
  • ^ Yes, I hope Keith can tell more about another one too.
She also celebrated with some bubbles as you can see at the end of this:

  • Yes, we marked the occasion of Anne Marit's birthday with the balloons & party popper at the beginning of the set. She was touched. The last time the band played at the Scala was on her birthday back in 2012 and we got her a big cake. As yet, I haven't been to any gigs when it was another band member's birthday :)
  • Pinchas Zukerman tonight.
If I were dead, could I do this?
  • Of Monsters and Men have added several autumn tour dates, among them a November UK tour and they
will be here in Stockholm October 30th. :)

  • We hosted the wonderful Ormonde (Anna-Lynne Williams and Robert Gomez) last thursday over here in Breda.
My band was supporting and then this happened....
Still not sure if I'm still dreaming or not...

  • Just sitting with the Appy's at RichMix in Shoreditch waiting for Laura Moody and then Mara Carlyle. :)

  • Here's some Laura Moody stuff. She is rather weird yet also enchanting. Some interesting vocals and mild abuse of her 250 yr old Cello called George. A really nice intimate gig with Laura and Mara complimenting each other.

We got a chance for a chat afterwards and she seemed to recognise me asking me if I was someone really famous - how bizarre! She also loves Felt Mountain and was at RAH last November.
