    Found out a little bit more about Cesária Évora.
    A native of the island nation of Cape Verde, Cesária Évora was known as the country's foremost practitioner of the morna, which is strongly associated with the islands and combines West African percussion with Portuguese fados, Brazilian modhinas, and British sea shanties.

    I listened to the Kate Bush interview too- hilarious! She talked of singing about laundry and little brown jugs?! It's like she took a look around the room, spotted something, then wrote a song about it..haha. Somehow she makes it work- charming.

    Have really enjoyed listening to this program with IPad in hand and using Shazam to pick up the music as it went along. Once identified, Shazam will generally give a 200 word or so synopsis of the artist.

    The BBC have changed their online player , the old method doesnae work . I`ve tried since and can get the first hour and that`s all .

    If push comes to shove I can use some old-school grabbing like Audacity and leave it playing for the show length to snare it all.

    I'll have a look tonight and see if any of my gadgets and gizmos still do the job.....

    I think my broadband is knocking off due to the amount of porn my neighbours are watching . I`ve retried and the stream kept cutting out .

    If I can lever myself away from playing Destiny online I'll crank it up over the weekend sometime.

    I'm sure one of us can grab it in some form whilst it's on the iPlayer.......
