For the Salford date we are going on the bus. Then a family member is picking us up. In a car it is only about 20/25 mins from me. But i just do not know the Lowry at all. For me its quite awkward via public transport. When i went to the Alison/curator thing i had to walk for about 15 mins after getting off the bus. I wish the concert was at Manchester. In fact i am not bothered anymore because i have made my arrangements.

Cw37frapp... 15 mins?? What about the metrolink tram service? It stops close to the.venue and it runs through the city centre where you can get a bus from?

Yeah fees. I have a ticket for Sophie Ellis-Bextor on 10th April. It cost:

£22.50 ticket price

£3.50 service charge

£5.50 processing fee

£31.50 total

That's not much less, in total, than one of the cheapest seats for Goldfrapp in Greenwich. One difference, though, is that unless I turn up late I won't be sitting at the back. All the same, I should maybe take all fees into account before buying gig tickets. I don't ooze so very much disposable income.

Yeah, that's a bit much. At least with the Sophie Ellis-Bextor gig they sent the ticket through the post (by signed-for delivery, too) -- so I had something for the £9 fees.

I'm not sure that the delivery person was one that I'd have liked to add to my collection.

the recorded delivery thing really pisses me off. the lack of option on how i wish to receive my ticket for a start. ive only ever once had em go missing by snail mail. thats a good ratio out of all the tickets ive ever had posted.

I currently live somewhere with no external letter boxes and only the royal mail guy has the access code, not couriers so I can never get stuff delivered to my home address. like im gonna be in at 2pm anyways. meh.

yeah its so nice to pay to print off my own ticket or insurance doc. lovely.

arrrrghhh rail engineering works will seriously impeed my Frapp live experience. FFS its either a dead body on the line and stranded till 3am or engineering works.

i actually meant to say theres no support act (again) for Birmingham so I guess the other dates may be the same.

I saw an ad for the Glasgow gig in a Sunday newspaper which mentioned a support band - We Are Evergreen.

A mistake, I think. There's a band called We Were Evergreen, who supported Anna Calvi on some European dates recently, but there's nothing on their web site about supporting Goldfrapp. Just their own tour dates in May.
