This is going to be so special. After all the years talking about how cinematic a lot of their music is, this will be the first time it will be heard with accompanying images - especially in black & white. Bring a tissue! Criminal if this isn't available at a later date on dvd, so polished. It's like the last 14 years have been leading up to tonight.

Can't wait to see what they've got planned for the live concert - special cameras, cut-aways, etc. Woohoo.

My nearest participating cinema is abroad (well, devon)... so I've started out already. This promises to be a very cool and unique event! :-)

Is it possible to travel from Cornwall to Devon? I had the idea (from the news) that the links between the two countries had been washed away by the sea/storms/floods.

No, the ruptured rail is in east Devon... the link between the 2 counties is fine. Plymouth (where I'm heading) is just over the border.

I tried to check the reserved seats plan last night, and as far as i could tell, there are still a lot of unbooked seats at this cinema. Guess that's ok, should at least mean i have a good view!

I asked Lisa Gunning about those "participating" countries which still have no city/venue listings on the TOU-Film webpage, and she replied:

"Tried to find out but no concrete word back to me yet. Yes it will be shown in those territories...just not live!!!!! X"

there is a bar, that is all we need to know. The Northy cinema leads through to the main Derngate theater space for all your bar/snack/middle class art school posing and chatting noisily about how exciting your life is requirements ;o)
