To be really honest i wish it would have been at one of the Manchester venues. Like the Academy again. I am organising it so we get picked up from Salford at the end of the concert. Making our own way there. If i am let down then we will either get a taxi to a bus or rail station. Or if i am rich at the time, A taxi all the way home. It should not be that much from Salford to Wigan. I am going. No doubt about it.
Looks like we could possibly have a London date at the end of the UK tour after all :) The Royal Albert Hall is available from 7th to 13th of April. No artists booked. This would make total sense. Get all of us to buy tickets for the other shows first & hopefully come close to selling out then add London. It would make the perfect venue for the 20 piece orchestra to be included. I'm hedging my bets....... Lol :)
Anyone know a good cheap place to stay in brighton?
the hotels there or BnBs r cheap out of season so u should be ok. I stayed at the Britannia called Royal Albion for £28 recently for a gig. Massive room. Ive used Booking.com or Late rooms or Superbreaks who list Britianias as a 'mystery hotel'. You do get what you pay for but they are sometimes better than awful ****holes Ive stayed in before. Brighton is heavy on hostels too.
^ That's great, Dreeke! Look forward to seeing you both again. :-)
Perhaps (along with @Laura and @KeithJ_gmb) we can put the others to shame again by staying up til crazy hours! Oh, aided and abetted by drink of course.
