  • Often covered, but this time it fits perfectly!
London Grammar - Wicked Game, also check out the version by EMIKA
    Be patient.
  • Rhythm of Life - Hugh Harris

Is Hugh Harris still going?  I have "Mr Woman Loves Mrs Man" on CD Single (love that song).  :)
Though we may deserve it, it will be worth it.
  • FKA twigs - "How's That"

    FKA twigs - "Water Me"

absolutely breathtaking, both sound and visuals!!
    Be patient.

Simply because they were wonderful I would think..... ;)

    Dubstar - Polestar

"Diamond dove, you can awake me in the entrance of the night". Linking on to what @LuDux was saying, Electribal Memories contains samples of Jean Michel Jarre's Magnetic Fields album.

PS: Sarah from Dubstar is lovely isn't she! :)

  • Nice choice for the milestone - that was a lovely night out for sure!

    I'm very envious!  :)

  • Morrissey - Please, Please, Please let me get what I want

Accidentally stumbled across, not the greatest quality one could ask for, but surprisingly great rendition, sheer emotion

    It's a re-creation
    Again I live another life
    My imagination
    Can't cross the borderline
  • This would have to be my favourite Morrissey/Smiths track. I do prefer the album version though as I love the bass licks as the end.  :)

  • It takes three and a half minutes of horror noises to get to the actual song, however Mylène is always "theatrical"....

  • Cheers M_D

always appreciate others smiths/mozzer choice. I don't think Morrissey kills Smiths songs when he plays them, obviously they sound like renditions by someone older and with a different band behind them, but still good stuff. There's some not bad vids from this year of Johnny Marr performing How Soon Is Now doing the rounds, stunning musically, but seriously lacking Mr. Morrissey on vocals. I do live in hope that it will happen one day just for a one off, hell they should make an album together really. Sad that Morrissey is struggling to put a new album together, he has some really good unreleased songs too.
