Backstage goss! I bumped into an MIF photographer last night who met Alison after the first performance at The Albert Hall. They chatted and she said she was terrified before she went on, but was blown away by the reaction of the audience. I remember the ovation she got after she said 'that's the new album'- she was genuinely overwhelmed. Tales of Us seems like a much more personal album from what I can tell.

I was surprised to see no official photographers at the front, though. I guess they must have been stationed elsewhere...

I'm so happy people were so into the new album without having heard it. Surely it was a great moment for them.

There were definitely a few times she'd finish a song then go to say something or introduce the next one only to have to step back and wait as the cheering & applause had gone on for a lot longer than she'd bargained for. She definitely seemed very pleasantly surprised.

It's funny - I only remember there being white lights. But obviously that's a false memory! Love the purply one. :)

Yeah and it was nice to see Will on stage for a change. Tho he looks like an eccentric teacher

Nothing in this thread has captured the unbelievably I am still alive, sweat box occasion. I dont think Alison sweats. She might overheat :-<
