  • @Cervus I hope that the gardening went well and you were able to avoid the showers.
Though we may deserve it, it will be worth it.
  • Yes it did thank you. The showers were a blessed relief really albeit doggy. :)

  • Getting used to my new Sunday routine so quite relaxed. Trying not to contemplate the Monday morning back to work feeling. Looking forward to the next few weekends when routine goes out the window and I indulge in various festivals.

  • Oh my god, how funny (but not at all really) @cervus - I have a massive stocktake at my joint tomorrow and even PREPARING for it, before the day actually comes, stresses me out so unbelievably..... I just ran away for a drink at the pub down the road! Haha, a stiff drink does actually seem to help.
It's such a massive headache. Every month. Id have it done twice a month to stop any possible discrepancies, but I actually cannot bear to go through the process more than once haha! It'll be over soon, for the both of us.... X
  • Feeling a little anxious with work at moment. It's that time of year with lots of people off on holiday but the workloads don't go down any. Starting to take work home in my head and have sleepless nights thinking I've got this to do, that to do. :-??

Urrgh that sort of obsessiveness is annoying isn't it? Maybe give yourself an absolute deadline of not worrying about work like a cut off time? Which sounds silly cos how can you stop worrying but say at 8pm do something to keep yourself occupied, so after that time no work mind allowed!
