  • You're welcome, Stranger.  Glad you liked it!  When I first saw it in a store, it spoke volumes to one who has spent waaaay too much time surviving the storm.  It is certainly my favorite saying.  I even bought the durned thing which is very unlike me.

  • I'm not really into flowery, poetic sayings, but that is pretty damn good. :) And succinct!
But... you bought the store?! Now that's what i call making a statement. ;)
  • Just got in after a very dodgy drive on the M25 in a thunderstorm....virtually no visibility....not pleasant glad to be back safe and sound.

  • Feeling..... Fine.
  • that can't have been nice Cervus
    "its MY favourite song"
  • No it wasn't...was a bit tired so that wasn't helping either. Was almost down to 10mph, although that isn't unusual for the M25 anyway!!! :)

  • Glad you're still "Alive" Cervus (my puns are getting worse - I do apologise).

    Seriously though, glad you're okay.
Though we may deserve it, it will be worth it.
  • Thank you M.D.

Feeling a little worse for wear this morning. I may have overdone it yesterday and now have try get myself going again to do some gardening here. Onwards and upwards. I must finish my cuppa first though. :)

  • @Bells  -  that is lovely news :) .....and yet it wasn't posted wall to wall in the papers/media etc....sorry I don't want to open that subject up again really.....it did do my head in a bit. >:/

@The_Carpathian....I know it is strange not to have the sun beating down on us....dare I say it almost refreshing yet I know it will not be long before we are all complaining about the 'lack of it' again.....hehehe

Just braved the hell that is Tesco and got out unharmed although had to explain to some feral family that there is a/n (albeit dubious) reason that shops do not open at the crack of sparrow on a Sun and haven't done for a while....sigh:)
