Do you remember that old mental asylum I mentioned some months back that my organisation still owns, despite it being closed for 18 years? Well, it is quite decayed in places, obviously, and is, apparently, the largest bat colony in the South of England ( over 24 different different species).
Anyway, it is plagued by urban warriors who break in through the fences and stalk the grounds for a thrill, particularly at night. Anyway, the site is highly dangerous due to its state of decay, having had not a stick of maintenance for 18 years ( hence the bats !) In the centre is a 100 foot Edwardian water tower, which is a magnet for such people. We recently apprehended 4 of these 'swampies' on the site and as they were being ejected by security, they told us they had posted a film of their exploits on YouTube.
This is what we found. Remember, not a stick of maintenance for at least 18 years, and the top of that tower? Probably more like 30.
