I'm with you here! I think it's a good video.. I find myself loving the first half and then hoping we eventually see more of Alison - especially in the red outfit. It flashes to her and then flashes back to the dancers, who get about 80% of the screen time. I like it as a first video for the album, but I'm hoping whatever they choose for the next song / video we see a little more Alison and a stronger narrative. -
Brief interview with Lauren Laverne this morning. Its on iplayer (around the 47' mark), but the main points are:
- Gig in Glasgow on 24th March, where they will be playing, "lots of old stuff and quite a lot of the new tracks" (separate thread for that gig)
- they will be starting rehearsals next week
- they will be playing "a lot of festivals in the summer" and there will be an autumn tour including "England and Europe"

I like how they've described it as being both electronic like SN & BC, but also mythical and otherworldly like 7T & FM. Sounds like the ultimate 'Frapp album to me...Soon be nothing of this world.

I love the minimalist, makeup-free look on her, but for crying out loud please lose the condom-esque headscarf and let that gorgeous fiery hairdo flow freely.Also, love how her latest tweet (https://twitter.com/goldfrapp/status/835808414903255041) might be referencing another potential single... Let us bloody hope so. Almost in March now. Can't believe we've had Anymore for over a month! -
I love that Alison is able to have the confidence to go without make up, or with minimal on these shoots. I go without make up every day of every week, can't stand the stuff, and I hope that my skin looks half as good as hers ( shame about my face, like!). I make my own face cream with rose oil and frankincense. No one has told me I look 21 recently though :-w
