  • But who are you dedicating it to?
If I were dead, could I do this?
  • Who was Cliff Richard, and where did he go after this song?

  • @iuv I used to love that song when I was little, because I thought it was about wizards. I thought they were singing "wizard emotion" and that's how I'd sing it. I guess it's "wheels are in motion". I only saw the movie for the first time a few years back, I saw the Broadway production first. I know nothing of Cliff Richard..was he an Aussie too?

Oh, I'm dedicating it to all the broken hearted.

  • Don't tell Stevil, but I've never seen Xanadu.

I read up on CR. Apparently, he was quite famous in England but relatively unknown here (two pop fluff hits that I recognized). I guess kind of like Linda Ronstadt in the UK/Europe.

  • Cliff was the one time British answer to Elvis. These days, he is trying to stay ahead of those that accuse him of being 'ahem' good friends with children. He never married you see, and was a bit of a loner (apart from a relationship with UK tennis player Sue Barker) so this obviously marked him down as either being a queen or a paedo.
It's a percuiler Britsh condition to assume any man who does not marry is in the closet.
