What is done in the dark will always come to light
  • With Thom Yorke being in both Atoms for Peace and Radiohead, he may feel he has a split personality.
This brings us to Christine Costner-Sizemore, whose struggles with multiple personality disorder were documented in the book The Three Faces Of Eve. Christine was discovered to have at least 22 distinct different personalities at times, and her story was dramatized in a 1957 film also called The Three Faces Of Eve in which Joanne Woodward won an the Academy Award for Best Actress.
2 of these personalities were the 'Strawberry Girl' and 'the Banana Split Lady'. You may recognise these as they are part of the lyrics for Christine by Siouxsie and the Banshees, which is based on this story.

Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.

  • This one reminds me of the very first drag-king show I saw way back in the 90's. A hot girl came out dressed as Billy Idol wearing leather and a huge strap-on. She lip-synced this song while fucking another girl's mouth on-stage....ah, those were the days!

  • I remember this film ! I saw it at the cinema back in the 70's. Dr Hilary Jerkoff, Dale Hardon and the planet Porno. Soft Porn was rife in the cinema then.
    Let's go old school.

  • Alan Parsons started off at 18 as an assistant recording engineer at Abbey Road studios. His first album was Abbey Road, by the Beatles, working alongside Sir George ( then just plain old George) Martin.
He then went on to Dark Side of the Moon and changed his shifts around so he could keep working on that album.
This is one of my all time favourite pieces. Clare Torry's vocal, improvised on the day in front of the mike, is just stunning. This is one of the songs that I will be checking out to when the time comes. Really must do that funeral songs thread.
