  • Deep link PG, you must be a film buff/student.
And for a cheese - drink.
2 things. On my computer, the little thumb nail image looks like Tom Cruise has a ball gag going on and Nicole Kidman's pants, so not sexy!

Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit.
Shall lure it back to cancal half a line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
  • In Eyes Wide Shut, Bill Hartford and his wife, Alice, attend a party thrown by one of Bill's wealthy patients, Victor Ziegler. Here, he meets old friend Nick Nightingale, who, later, tells him of a engagement he has where he goes to a lavish ball at a country mansion and plays piano blindfolded while costumed and masked guests take part in ritualistic sex and ceremonies. Bill decides to attend and blags his way in. After a time, he is discovered and unmasked.
At the end of the film, Nick is bustled away by two large men, never to be seen again. Bill is told his friend was just packed off back to Seattle but Bill suspects he is dead; killed by the same dark forces as a masked girl at the ball who saves him from punishment.
So, the next link is Elton John - Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding.
I love the way these two pieces segue together.

  • From musical Here Lies Love

  • Sounds like an epitaph on a head stone. If here lies love, will it fade away and radiate? (I'm looking for an emoticon that has its tounge in its cheek). A very different song from Blondie.

  • Black Dog - Babe Ruth with the incomparable Jenny Haan on vocals. Written by American Jesse Winchester.
This is live from 1972. Great powerful vocals, a dance routine in the middle, and look at that posturing with the microphone stand in the last minute or so. Is it me, or does it look reminiscent of Freddie Mercury?
    This is pre Queen. :-$
