For me, Julee's unearthly singing voice is an important part of making Twin Peaks what it is. I have a Julee Cruise CD. The whole album sounds very Twin Peaksy.
Would that be The Voice Of Love? That was written by David and Angelo so that's why it sounds similar :p They made a stage production out of it, Industrial Symphony No 1, worth checking out. She did talk not that long ago about working with David and Angelo again so she's probably up for it.
No, my Julee Cruise album is "Floating into the Night". Do you know it? It includes the Twin Peaks theme song, but all of the tracks have a very similar sound.
A half-hour Twin Peaks documentary is on BBC Radio 4 at 4pm (ie in about 20mins!)
"Twin Peaks is one of the most influential and innovative programmes in television history - writer and broadcaster Danny Leigh goes for a walk in the woods to explain why."
Yep, all aboard the Twin Peaks express. The towns (or Cities depending on your viewpoint) of North Bend and Snoquamie double for Twin Peaks in the show. From the opening credits, Snoquamie Falls
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ. Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit. Shall lure it back to cancal half a line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
Twede's Cafe in North Bend is the Double R Diner, at least from the outside.
The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ. Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit. Shall lure it back to cancal half a line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.

This where you can get Cherry Pie and a 'Damn fine cup of Coffee'

And this was said pie and Java. The pie was nice. I've had better coffee but we do now own one of those mugs

No 'Twin Peaks' news yet, but the world certainly feels weird on top at the moment...
Last night, I happened to see a topical show by a guy called John Oliver (never heard of him before... a Brit, but maybe more well-known in the US?) in which he lambasted another unknown (to me) bloke called Dr Oz. Again, I assume he is familiar (almost) exclusively to Americans.
So nothing that odd... until an hour ago, when David Lynch tweeted: "in my opinion @DrOz is a great person and a great doctor and I support him 100%".
I will have to look into this Oz guy. Assuming that DL wasn't joking / drunk / held-at-gunpoint :-/
