We started watching the TV series Brittania, which was a dramatised account set around the Roman invasion of Britain. It used Donavan’s Hurdy Gordy man as it’s theme music in Series 1 and it really sticks with you.

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ. Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit. Shall lure it back to cancal half a line, Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.
And then, for season 2, they used Donavan’s Season of the Witch. Equally as enchanting. It really gets in your head.

But today, I heard this on the radio as part of a tribute to Ennio Morricone - The Ecstasy of Gold and now I want to see The Good, The Bad and the Ugly again. Don’t have that on DVD so I will watch Once Upon A Time in the West, which I do have, and it has the Man With A Harmonica in it, so maybe post that later.

Ennio Morricone - Man With A Harmonica. A recurring theme in the soundtrack of the Spaghetti Western ‘Once Upon A Time In the West’
