  • I know it's very fashionable to say "Their best album since....." when a band drops a new album but........

Lamb's new album is an absolute blinder and easily their best since quite a while. I know a number of you on here like a bit of Lou & Andy so well worth a mention. Dreeke, I'd imagine you've possibly got yours by now if I know you well enough?

Got my 2 cd numbered pop-up book through a day or two ago and it's some of the best writing they've done in ages - they've somehow managed to mix the dirty synth bangers & the huge strings anthems on one album and have it hold together wonderfully.

The theme this time is time, space, the universe and us as human beings - it roars and twinkles as perfectly befits the theme.

Right, now I've typed all that I'm off for a bit more.

  • Good work, Dreeke! The double CD version is pretty stunning - the album with bonus tracks plus 6 as instrumentals and a 10 track live album with orchestra. It's up with the best they've ever done for sure - enjoy!

I was at the hairdressers today, a ladies hairdressers, not a barbers, and they have a TV on the wall with a programme that was showing old music videos.  Up popped another of my guilty pleasures.......
