I thought @KatRobin would be dancing a jig today, considering old Gove got the push yesterday from the Dept of Education !

Spare Llama available for dinner party entertainment
It can only get worse. The devout South American cowboy lost his favorite Bible while he was mending fences out on the range. Three weeks later, a llama walked up to him carrying the Bible in its mouth. The cowboy couldn't believe his eyes. He …

Entertain me! (the twisted & disturbing are welcome)
Well, Mrs UT, being the arty type, has many friends who are 'alternatively sexually orientated' that go back to her art school days. One is a female impersonator, or drag artist called Chamonix Aspen. Chamonix has an act that she performs …

Been there to. I think I have become the ghost of Alan Whicker, who, I believe Appy once told me was born in Leeds. We did a trip to Miami some years ago (about 12) and after 4 or 5 days in Miami, enjoying all the Art Deco buildings on South Beach (…

(To ) Kill Mrs UT agrees that we did not go to the Saguaro NP. Seems odd as it is not that far out of Tucson and when we went to Tombstone, we carried on as far as Bisbee, which is considerably further on. Add it to the bucket list.

Check Twitter for Alison updates
Don't do twitter myself, but can see some of Alison's stuff in places like the web site. I have to say, it creeps me out a bit. Alison shows a picture of three books she is thinking of taking away with her and, suddenly, they are on people…

We live down the road from a chicken farm and when the wind is in the right direction.........!!! But, then again, most of the time it is fine. Is it actually a chicken hatchery? Up the road from us is what is called a broiler house (or two). Here, …

Yes, it comes from the perfect past participle form of fodio, fodere: to dig, etc. Never mind all that. Have you found that Saguaro sign yet? Up at the Westward Look, they have real Saquaros that are ringed around the outside with white lights. Com…

Funny thing: it isn't apes that we evolved from, but a far more primitive common ancestor. So, Christians aren't scientists - unless they are Tom Cruise of course. All the above said, I do love churches ! Always peaceful and tranquil pla…

It will be playing Live on Sept. 4 at Ocean Reef, Key Largo. Hey PG. I think you said you live in Florida. I assume if you are considering a viewing in Key Largo, you either live in/around Miami or somewhere down towards Key West?

How did you get into Goldfrapp?
I was watching Jimmy Fallon last September when Tina Fey was on. Goldfrapp was on next. I'd heard of her, but had never heard any of her music, so I watched them perform Drew and I was hooked! So now I'm all caught up on all the albums, ha…
