Now in Chartes on the way home. Just watching T.V in the hotel, and a French arts program interviewing Johhny Depp and up pops Strict Machine as backing music. Go the Frapp !

Goldfrapp's Genre
I think across the first 5 albums on Wiki, I counted 17 different genre classifications; hence why this question is so difficult to answer. One of them for Head First was 'Italo disco'? Who makes these up? My favourite is Electroclash !

I thought we were now under FIFA fair play rules where a club has to turn a certain degree of profit across a season. Cannot see how Barcelona manage this with the exorbitant transfer fees and wages paid that they make compared to gate receipts and …

Alison looks stunning by the way in short skirt, leather boots and Kepi, as does Angie. Charlie does not appear to have changed a great deal but Davide though seems to have lost a lot of weight. Then I watched the other concert at the Shepards Bush…

The guy that plays the Father in the Fear turned up playing a very similar character in a program set in Australia called Top of the Lake. Obviously he has cornered the market in playing psychotic Scotsmen ! Both excellent series. Perhaps they will …

Just finished watching it in France. Less drop outs than the cinema event in Crawley. Agree about the slightly robotic vocals in Lovely Head but not the first time this has come over like that. Perhaps Will was absent. That aside, splendid. Wonderin…

I was amazed to discover Mudchute actually exists! Obviously not named by someone with a working knowledge of sexual slang otherwise they would have realised there is a direct line between Swiss Cottage and Mudchute !

Random confession: I can't wait for this World Cup Fifa thing to be over. A months worth of soccer/football is just way too much. Thank God it's only once every four years! There's far too much emphasis and money spent ball games as i…

^Thanks for looking into it anyway. It's always appreciated. Fans in the States never get to see the broadcast stuff unless someone tapes it for us. The fact that they couldn't tour this album is a huge bummer for everyone in the Anericas.…

We visited your fair city in 2012 on another of our road trips in the USA. We stayed at the Westward Look Resort for a few days and used it as a base to visit the area, including Tombstone, which I had wanted to visit since I was a kid. Yes, we did …

If you live in Phil Collins world ( you poor bugger) then Ssudio. It made sense in his head, but, then again, he did get into the habit of appearing on TOTP with an open paint can on his piano. I blame being exposed to Peter Gabrial.

It's not just about the lyrics. There is something irrepressibly 'up' about that song. The guy bouncing around with the insidious grin on his face, it was just not Goldfrapp. Just my opinion but it is a track that I just skip over. N…
