Goldfrapp in unexpected places..........

Well, it was a week- end of contrasts. Friday night was Massive Attack at Brixton Academy, which was a great gig as this is always a standing gig as anyone who has seen Goldfrapp there can testify. They played for an hour and 3/4s, playing a fair sm…

Dreams, and your subconscious mind...
Some graze here though occasionally, if you know where to look, just passive and voyeristic. Others have not trod these paths for 18 months or more. Perhaps a new album and tour will liven things up!

I know someone who had this to cure recurrent back pain and it worked fine. I think the space in my cabinet for your fine cranium will remain empty for sometime yet Kat !

Today is my Mum's 93rd birthday ! She's had a difficult year, in and out of hospital, but is back at home now. This is her 90 years ago. Sweet !

And the video was typical French with smouldering sexual overtones. Several times she bobbed down in front of him and I thought, hello, where's this going? Got to love the French! Welcome Tubbsy !

Loving your work people! Re Cat People. We did a cover of that once with 'me mate' Graham doing lead vocal in a very, very deep voice. Saw this a couple of times live with this lead vocalist perched on a stool with a broken leg.

Wow. I could hear the Mitochondrial energy crackling all the way through that post. I actually cooked a slice of toast off of it ! I could have done the whole loaf if you had been out of bed ! Perhaps some bright spark (sic) should invent a Mitochon…

An interesting conundrum on Puff. Was it about drugs? It caused quite a stir on the 60's. Peter Yarrow, who wrote it with Leonard Lipton, insisted it was about the loss of childhood innocence, which I am inclined to believe by the lyrics '…

My first thought when the Zika story broke was " oh, that'll be man made too then". Once a cynic, always a cynic... Veering off from the subject just for a moment, here in the East of England, 5 sperm whales have washed up on local be…

How do you feel today?
My last 4 cars have been Suzukis. Sadly I wrapped one of them round a metal barrier which was quite fortunate really as it stopped the car and me in it plunging into a river. I still have flashbacks...monstrous. But the air bag worked. Great cars, s…

The Detectorists is a nice, gentle and funny comedy. Funny thing is, it co-stars Rachel Stirling and in a cameo part as her Mother, her Mother in real life, Diana Rigg. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you, David Bowie's landlady circa 1972 !!!
