I just discovered a cd named Awakening by a group of mixed Middle Easterners singers called Ashavahishta. The project -Awakening- is based on poetry by Rumi and sung in Farsi and Urdu. It is the best of ancient and modern with distinct echoes of 60&…

I too have thought of that mid-60's jazzy vibe that Goldfrapp can get goin as a BOND THING. So it's not just me, plenty of other fans notice it too. They are just sooooooooooo goooood. Goldfrapp 4ever.

Tales Of The Lesbian Serial Killer
My diagnosis of lyrics and film images; there is a female serial killer who stalks and falls in love with her intended victims. The songs are love songs to her victims.

I love the 'Tales of Us' music more and more. It stands on it's own but also harkens back to the 'Felt Mountain' sound. If there is a way to purchase the film with music I would sure like to know about it. ?????

This is my bugaboo word that had me utterly stumped as a child, adultery. An adult is a post adolescent human. The word adultery implies a wrong, a crime a sin or some such thing in the way it is used. Therefore, there is something criminal or sinfu…

I was just listening to Headfirst played Shiny and Warm twice. I like musical jokes and 'friendly echos' in music. It is something Rhys Fulber & Bill Leeb can't help but throw into some of their music and Headfirst has a kind of &…

Hairy Trees-Head First-Train- but that misses their 80's synth pop side. I like the Chimera Pop desription.

I never thought of him as 'Poor old Will". I think of him as 50% of Goldfrapp. I assume that it would be difficult to untangle what parts of song lyric, tune and musical arrangements are created by whom by time they have shaped up a new so…
