Anyone else noticed that around the middle, before Alison starts to go up her register, the synth voices in the background are very close in timbre & feel to those used 30 years ago on ‘A Secret Wish’ by Propaganda?Didn’t notice it at first but now I have, I keep getting thrown back to that great album.
I'm really happy they're giving it the time, even despite its length. I remember Alison saying around the time of TOU that her voice had deepened over the years and couldn't hit the high notes like she used to - at least this song proves she still can! -

However nice it is to hear Alison’s vocals, having been starved of it so much, this track doesn’t extend her at all & is not as good as Impossible. Mostly hidden behind a vocoder, nothing soaring like the previous track. Just feels like a filler to be honest. Better than nothing but not a feast either.The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ.

Totally agree with you though U_T. It doesn't really do it for me. Impossible is still top dog.

And I have to say I’m not a huge fan of the monosyllabic repetitious lyrics. Seems to be a lot of that these days.
