The more I think about that article regarding gamma rays and life inside a galaxy, the more intrigued I become. The mention that SETI is looking towards the center of the galaxy for life and probably should be looking anywhere else.But, the point about how gamma rays from any sun, without the protection of an ozone layer, kill off anything over the size of a microbe makes me wonder if that means there is no chance of establishing life on a planet like mars.The Sentient Struggle For Transformation
